Dave's 35th Birthday
Today was a wonderful day. Julie, Amanda, Emily and I spent the whole day together. At about noon, we went to Finley's and I had a steak for my birthday lunch. After that, we drove a little over an hour to Uncle John's Cider Mill.
I have gone to Uncle John's since I was a small child. I think it has gotten bigger each year. Now they have horse carriage rides, wagon rides, face painting, and other activities for children. They had some animals from Potter Park Zoo. It is almost like going to a fair. Of course, they still have delicious Apple Cider and baked goods.
It was a very happy time to see my girls enjoying some of the same activities I did when I was a child. It was great for us to spend the day together.
On the way home we stopped at Best Buy to look at some DVD recorders and other Tech stuff. We didn't get anything today. We got home at about 8pm. It's been a great weekend and we are looking forward to a good day tomorrow at church.
