Spriggs Family Journal

This past week was the first day of Fall. I have been so busy at work and fixing things up at home that I haven't taken the time to write an entry for over a week. I just learned about posting pictures, so I picked a couple from our Summer and made a post highlighting some of the things we did.

Early this Summer, we took a long weekend and visited Mackinack Island. We had a great time there. We saw historical information about the area, the beauty of landscape, and enjoyed being away together. The girls especially enjoyed seeing the horses on the island. We rode bikes around the island and we all enjoyed that (but Julie and I were very tired by the end of the day).

In July, we went to North Carolina and visited mom and dad, Matt, and Grandma. We had a lot of fun there like we do every year. The girls really enjoyed playing with their cousins, Autumn, Alley, and Hannah. They went to a butterfly farm.

As the Summer came to a close, Julie and I went for bike rides together and made plans for improving our home. I am still staying busy with my job and enjoy what I do. Our Fall has been great so far. Fall is my favorite season, but I'm always a little sad to see Summer end in Michigan because of how long the winter is here.
